Licences to reproduce our material for non-commercial or low-value commercial purposes
can be obtained quickly and easily in just a few minutes, by following our simple
step-by-step process below. These licences are FREE, and last for
1 year.
In addition to the standard terms and conditions published on the the Admiralty website, to obtain an online licence you need to meet our qualifying criteria and must be at least 18 years of age and legally entitled to enter into an agreement with the UKHO.
Stage 1 - your details: Who you are, who you work for
(if applicable) and how we contact you. See

Stage 2 - product purpose: How you want to use our material.
Stage 3 - material selection: Select our material that
you want to reproduce.
Stage 4 - confirm details: Confirm/change your previously
input details from a summary.
Stage 5 - qualifying questions: Answer the questions which
will determine whether you meet our Qualifying Criteria for a free licence.
Stage 6 -
receive your licence: Submit your application to receive your draft licence via
email, then simply read it and accept it by reply to obtain your finished licence
within minutes.
